William Edward Saunders

Edward "Bill"
Saunders, 85, of Huntington, died Thursday, Thursday,
July 25, 2013 in Huntington Health and Rehab. Mr.
Saunders and his two brothers were the founders of the Huntington
Hose and Hydraulic Company since 1957. Bill was born June 12, 1928 in Logan
County, WV, a son of the late Glen Leo and Willie Keyser
Saunders. In addition to his parents, his
is preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn; two brothers, Jack and H.L.
Saunders and a step-daughter, Sharon Turner
Neff. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a member of the
Huntington Lodge 53 AF & AM; Huntington Chapter #6 RAM Royal Arch Masons;
Huntington Commandery #9 Knights Templar; American Legion Post 16 and the
Huntington Lodge 313 B.P.O.E. He is survived by his daughter, Kelly King of
Columbus, OH; a step-son, Reid Turner of AZ and two special friends, Karen
and Kimberlea. A special "Thank You" is expressed to the staff of the
Huntington Health and Rehab. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday,
July 29, 2013, by the Rev. Mark Conner at Klingel Carpenter Mortuary.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in
Spring Hill Cemetery. It is suggested that memorial contributions be made to
a charity of one's choice.
