Obituary

Paul Lowell Browning
(June 25, 1927 - September 23, 2013)

Paul Lowell Browning, 86, of Huntington, WV passed away surrounded by family on September 23, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Browning and their daughter Linda Summers and husband Ken, grandchildren, Eamon and Lisa Given, Brian and Kelly Wise, and Katie Summers and Jennifer Bondurant; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers Ivan Browning and wife Majean, S.D. Browning and wife Wanda, and a sister, Betty Galit. He was an Army veteran who served in Germany during World War II. He enjoyed woodworking, feeding the squirrels and birds of the neighborhood, and cooking for and spending time with his family. Visitation will be from 5-7p.m, Friday, September 27 at Klingel-Carpenter Mortuary, and funeral service will be held at 11a.m., Saturday, September 28 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Johnson Memorial United Methodist Church in Huntington or Matewan Methodist Church in Matewan, WV.
