Lilly Mae Cohen
(February 12, 1924 - September 21, 2015)

Lilly Mae (Peggy) Markham Cohen of Chesapeake, Ohio died September 21, 2015 at Heartland of Riverview. Lilly was born in St. Albans, WV February 12, 1924 to Lilly Mae Markham and George Taylor. At age 9 she was raised by her foster parents, Ben and Ann Mitchell. Lilly was preceded in death by her parents and six siblings. She was the widow of James Cohen. She is survived by her brother-in-law David Cohen. Lilly was a life-long animal lover and rescued many homeless animals. The family thanks her many faithful care givers and her wonderful friend Judi Korstanje. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Spring Hill Cemetery, B’nai Isreal Section with Rabbi Jean Eglinton officiating.
