Anna Lee Shannon

Anna Lee “Ann” Shannon, 92, of Huntington, widow of Andrew K. “Ken” Shannon, passed away peacefully in her sleep at Genesis Dunbar Care Center on Friday, September 25, 2015. She was born May 12, 1923 a daughter of the late Henry and Ruie Osborne. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers. She is survived by a brother, Kenny, of Batavia, Ohio; her three children, Sandra (Frank) Schultz of Charlottesville, VA, Dirk (Sherri) Shannon of Charleston, WV and Mark Shannon of Huntington, WV as well as 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, October 1, 2015 by the Rev. Joe Hill at Klingel-Carpenter Mortuary with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park. It is suggested memorial contributions be made to the Crossroads United Methodist Church of Huntington.
