Virginia K Lambert
(March 13, 1931 - June 4, 2016)

Virginia “Ginger” Mae Kaufman Lambert, 85, of Huntington went Home to her loving Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, June 4, 2016, following a lengthy illness. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Born in Brooklyn, New York on March 13, 1931 to Robert and Mary A. Kaufman, Virginia moved to West Virginia when she was a child and graduated from St Joseph Catholic High School in 1949. She and her late husband, James M. Lambert, had four children. She retired from the U.S. government. Mrs. Lambert is survived by daughter Patrice, and son Michael, both of Huntington; and son Malcolm (Karen) of Kentucky; granddaughter, Sarah; and a sister, Dorothy. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Brian. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Huntington. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm; Wednesday, June 15 at the Ridgelawn Memorial Gardens Chapel officiated by Father Paul Yuenger and Rev. Kevin West.
