Joyce Justice Hodges
(December 23, 1940 - June 5, 2017)

Joyce Josephine Justice Pauley Hodges, 77 of Huntington, died Monday, June 5, 2017 in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington.  She was born October 23, 1940 in Spring Hill, WV, a daughter of the late Thomas H. and Olevia J. Justice.  In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her beloved spouse, Jerry C. Hodges; a son, Timothy W. Searls and by a granddaughter, Leigh Ann Dailey. Joyce was a retired beautician and healthcare worker. And was a member of the Women of the Moose.  She is survived by 3 sons and their spouses: David and Catherine Hodges, James and Cricket Hodges and Timothy and Kimberly Pauley. Daughter-in-law, Polly Searls; daughter, Angela Nunn; 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Raymond and his wif Drema Justice and Howard Justice; three sisters, Drema and husband Robert Harper, Geraldine and husband William Gillispie and Brenda Penningoton.  Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, June 8, 2017 by Pastor Keith Waters at Klingel-Carpenter Mortuary  with visitation from 12 noon until service time. Interment will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
