Obituary
Richard J. Pellegrini
Richard J. Pellegrini, 58, passed from this earth to his Heavenly home Monday, June 12, 2017. Rick was born July 16,1958 into the loving family of Henry J and Virginia O’Dwyer Pellegrini, who preceded Rick in death. He is survived by a sister, Patrice Pellegrini, a brother and sister-in law, John and Julie Pellegrini, a niece, Gianna Pellegrini, an Aunt, Theresa Torlone and many cousins and friends. Throughout Rick’s life, he was an avid sports fan and was active in the Huntington Community youth sports. He was a referee, a coach, an umpire, a score keeper and concessions worker for League 3 baseball and YMCA basketball. He was a huge fan of The Cincinnati Reds and the Bengals. Rick was a person who never met a stranger and, if you knew Rick you were considered a friend. He was light hearted and always ready to exchange grin-filled jabs with his big brother and close friends. Rick had a big heart and gave all of himself to the life he lived and the lives he touched. He leaves a space in the hearts of all who knew him that cannot be filled with anything but sweet memories. Visitation will be at Klingel-Carpenter Mortuary Thursday, June 15, 2017 from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, June 16, 2017 by Father Dean Borgmeyer at Klingel-Carpenter Mortuary. Entombment will follow in Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington.
