Gladys Vivian Tschop
(January 29, 1923 - March 9, 2018)

Gladys Vivian Tschop, daughter of Gibson Valentine Robbins and Thelma M. Robbins, died Friday, March 9, 2018 at Woodlands Retirement Community.  Born on January 29, 1923, she was pre-deceased by her husband, Edwin A. “Bud” Tschop and her brother, Harold Robbins.  She was 95 years old.  In her younger years, Vivian, as she was known to her friends and family, was an avid bridge player and enjoyed playing golf. She was a longtime volunteer at Cabell Huntington Hospital and also worked with breast cancer survivors of which she was one. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Harry and Bonnie Tschop of Seaford DE and her daughter, Jo Ellen Thacker of Barboursville, her granddaughter, Holly Fletcher of Salisbury MD and great-grandson Ryan Garigliano and wife Sandra of San Pedro, CA.  She also leaves behind her sister-in-law Jean Backus, also a resident of Woodlands, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at the Ridgelawn Memorial Park Chapel. Visitation will be from 10:30 AM until service time.
