Obituary
ELMA JEAN CARRIGAN
of Huntington, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, May 15, 2012, at St.
Mary's Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m.
Thursday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Keith Wiebe. Burial will
follow in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington. She was born in Huntington, a
daughter of the late Glen and Virgie Neal Halbert. Jean was a homemaker and
a member of Grace Gospel Church. In addition to her parents, she was
preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Charles Carrigan; brother Lowell
Halbert and sister Norma Barber. Survivors include two sons, Bud and Debbie
Carrigan of Houston, TX; Mike Carrigan and Vicki Tuller of St. Pete Beach,
Fla.; daughter Debbie and Preston Cole of Huntington; grandchildren Lesli
Malone, Bobby Carrigan, Kelly Carrigan, Christina Cole and Amy Cole;
great-grandchildren Jack Malone and Lily Malone; and, special friend and
caregiver Celestine Keenan. The family would like to thank all of Jean's
caregivers. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the
Reger Funeral Home.
