Joan Teresa Foley
(October 17, 1931 - December 27, 2013)

Joan Teresa Foley, 82 of Huntington, WV passed away Friday, December 27, 2013 in Chesapeake, Ohio at the home of her daughter. Funeral Liturgy will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Chesapeake, Ohio by Rev. Charles Moran. Entombment will follow at Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington, WV. Visitation will be from 5:00 -7:00 P.M. Monday at the Reger Funeral Home, with the Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mrs. Foley was born October 17, 1931 in Toledo, Ohio the daughter of the late Casimir and Rose Drudzinski Urbanski. She was a member of St. Ann’s Church and had worked at Archer’s Flowers. She was also preceded in death by her husband Arvil Eugene Foley and her brother, Robert Urbanski. Those that survive her include, one son Roger Foley of Greensboro, NC; one daughter, Debra Ann Foley Smith and her husband, Dr. Robert Smith of Chesapeake, Ohio; grandchildren: Nicholas and Trevor Foley and Luke, Adam and Jacob Smith; her sister-in-law, Evelyn Urbanski; nieces and nephews: Kathy Terrill, Karen Urbanski, Sharie Springer, Mike Urbanski; special friends at St. Ann’s Church and her card playing crew, Velma, Irene and Margaret. Our Mom will be greatly missed but we know that she is now in heaven with our Dad whom she missed terribly. She loved birthdays, Christmas, traveling and spending time with her family. Our Mom was extremely proud of her grandsons. She attended their school activities such as graduations, soccer and swim meets. She enjoyed pulling the slot machines with friends and family, especially seven card hold 'em with her sister-in-law, Aunt Eve. She was a "character", and enjoyed simply having fun. Many summers were spent with her family at the beach, where she loved being in the sun. We know that she is no longer in pain and is holding hands with Dad. How lucky she is to be meeting Jesus. We love you Mom.
