Obituary
Jackie Lee Plymale,
76, of Huntington, went to be with the Lord on Sunday March 2, 2014 at his
residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Saturday at the Reger
Funeral Chapel by Pastor David Fairburn and Joseph Deeds. Burial will follow
in Docks Creek Cemetery, Kenova, WV. He was born May 16, 1937 in Huntington,
WV, a son of the late Henry and Winona Thacker Plymale. Jackie was a
lifetime member of the Laborers Local 543 and was a member of the Bible
Apostolic Church and an avid sportsman and outdoorsman. His family was the
light of his life. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by
his loving wife of 49 years Janet E. Stone Plymale and a brother in law
James Givens. Survivors include Rebecca (Tom) Peyton, Marcia Masters and
Neal (Beth) Plymale all of Huntington; three grandchildren Ashley (David)
Will of Lexington, KY, Nathan (Abby) Masters of Huntington and Hannah
Plymale of Huntington; four great grandchildren Sophie and Brantley Will of
Lexington, Addison Walls and Brooklyn Masters of Huntington; one godchild
Victoria Knight of Ashland, KY; two sisters Maxine (Sam) Kilgore of
Huntington and Virginia Givens of Melbourne, Fla. and special friend Rickey
Spaulding of Huntington. The family would like to express a special thank
you to the people from Gentiva- Karen Daniels, Greg, Jeremey, Nikki and
Megan and Tara Pennington of Humana. Friends may call from noon until
service time on Saturday at the Reger Funeral Home.
