    Vollie A. Bloss, 
    80, of Lavalette, WV, went to his heavenly home on May 24, 2014 at St. 
    Mary’s Medical Center. He was born March 1, 1934, a son of the late Floyd 
    and Genia Bloss. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his 
    loving wife Norma June and his brothers Charles, Sanders, Leonard, and Frank 
    Bloss and sisters Elizabeth Plymale and Katherine Esque and a special nephew 
    Danny Bloss. He is survived by his brother Herman (Jeanine) Bloss, his 
    sisters Nettie (Ernie) Shank, Claretta Edwards, sister in law and brother in 
    law Margaret and Jim Lambert, sisters in law Marilyn Jarvis and Margaret 
    Bloss. Vollie was a retired heavy equipment operator and a member of Trinity 
    Chapel. Some of Vollie’s favorite activities were camping, boating, 
    woodworking, apple butter and molasses making, whittling at the lake with 
    his pals and keeping up with the comings and goings at Sugarwood Golf 
    Course. Also surviving are Loretta and Kenny Smith who loved and cared for 
    Vollie, a special nephew Thomas (Judy) Bloss, his Mountain Fever (Glory 
    Bound) Kids, Richard and Peggy Napier, Marlin and Peggy Oldaker, Bertha 
    Thompson and Loretta Smith and many nieces, nephews and friends who loved 
    Vollie. Special thanks to Lavalette EMS, his doctors, Gentiva Home Health 
    and Doris for their loving care. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am 
    Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Greg Wells. Burial will follow 
    in Bloss Family Cemetery, Lavalette, WV. His nephews will serve as 
    pallbearers. Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm Monday at the Reger Funeral
