Obituary
Ray McCoy,
70 of Kenova, WV passed away Monday, May 19, 2014 at Cabell Huntington
Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the
Reger Funeral Chapel by Amos Prince; burial will follow in Spring Valley
Memory Gardens, Huntington. Ray was born August 28, 1943 in Crum, WV a son
of the late Ireland and Malinda Hunt McCoy. He was a retired employee of the
Muth Lumber Company. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by
one brother, Ireland McCoy and one sister Nina McCoy Larsen. His survivors
include his wife, Lavina E. McCoy; two sons, Danny (Dolly) Crisp and James
Ray Crisp; five brothers :, Guy McCoy, Jay McCoy, Jess (Dottie) McCoy, Joe
McCoy, Frank (Sandy) McCoy, four sisters: Gay Riley, Fay Staley, Nola (
Gary) Martin, Barbara Williams and a host of nieces, nephews and friends
that will miss him greatly. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the
Reger Funeral Home.
