Obituary
CRYSTAL ELIZABETH SKEAN-OWENS,
born on October 29th, 1970 passed away on Friday, May 2nd. Crystal had a
contagious laugh with an inner light and a vibrance that affected everyone
who knew her. Funeral services will be conducted at 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 6,
2014 at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Rev. Phillip Warren, burial will follow
at Docks Creek Cemetery, Kenova. Survived by her two beautiful daughters
Mackenzie and Hayden Wright of Kenova; her husband William "Eddie" Owens of
Huntington; her beloved parents Ida Carol and Bernard Skean of Kenova;
sisters Courtney Skean of Columbus, Ohio, and Julia Skean of Kenova; nephews
Parker McComas and Preston Skean of Kenova; and a host of friends and
family. Close loved ones preceding her in death were her infant son Steven
Ray Marcum Jr. and Aunt Julia “Judy” Lycan. Visitation will be from 3 to 5
p.m. Tuesday at Reger Funeral Home in Huntington. Her family wishes to thank
all the friends and relatives who have offered extraordinary love and
support in this most difficult time.
