Obituary
Phyllis Pauline Christian,
80, of Huntington, passed away, Thursday, November 27, 2014, at St. Mary's
Medical Center, Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am
Monday at the Central Church of the Nazarene, Huntington, by Rev. Ronald
Adams. Burial will be at the Plybon Family Cemetery, Mount Union Road,
Cabell County, W. Va. She was born December 11, 1933 in Cabell County, W.
Va. a daughter of the late Rhynard and Mary Plybon Hale. She was a
homemaker. She was a member of the Central Church of the Nazarene of
Huntington, where she was missionary president and a member of the church
board. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three
brothers Charles, James and Gary Hale and a sister Helen Sullivan. Survivors
include her husband of 61 years Thomas Christian, two sons and a
daughter-in-law Michael Christian of Huntington and David and Rose Christian
of Miamisburg, Ohio, five grandchildren Laura, Bethany, Michael II, Matthew
and Tiffany, two great granddaughters Katelyn and Emily, a sister Shelba
Darst of Huntington and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from
5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Sunday at the Central Church of the Nazarene. Reger
Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
