Obituary
Bertha Mae Marshall Ward,
84, of Kenova, WV, wife of Ray Ward, passed away Wednesday November 5, 2014
at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:30 pm
Sunday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Greg Page. Burial will follow
in Ward Cemetery, Wayne County, WV. She was born August 21, 1930 in Wayne
County, WV, a daughter of the late Bill and Hazel Newman Marshall. She was a
homemaker and a member of Shoals Missionary Baptist Church. In addition to
her parents she was also preceded in death by a son Rusty Ward who passed
away May 17, 2014. Additional survivors include a son and daughter in law
Michael and Terri Ward; daughter Raenette Ward and Ted; Rusty’s widow Janet
Ward; eight grandchildren Taylor Ward, Bethany and Jason Hatfield, Shane
Ward and Christina, Brandon Ward and Dana, Aaron and Michelle Ward, Nicole
Ward and Jordan, Jeremy Moore and Jamie and Aaron and Teresa Moore and seven
great grandchildren Nick Ward, Jase Hatfield, Jordyn Moore, AJ Moore, Cole
Moore, Hayley Ward and Peyton Ward. Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm Saturday
at the Reger Funeral Home.
