Obituary
Gladys McKenzie,
92, of Huntington, went home to her heavenly Father on November 5, 2014.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 PM Saturday at the Reger Funeral
Chapel by Pastor Roger Mooney. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery,
Kenova, WV. She was born October 27, 1922 in Elliott County, Kentucky.
Gladys was a homemaker and a caregiver and she was also a faithful member ot
Kellogg Independent Holiness Church of God. She was preceded in death by her
husband of 55 years Thomas Franklin McKenzie her parents Roscoe and Ida
Knipp McKenzie; her brothers and sisters; one son in law Sidney Gibson, Jr.
and one grandson in law Carl B. Gilbert. Survivors include her daughter
Mildred Gibson and two sons Larry and David McKenzie; four grandchildren;
seven great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren and a host of
family and friends. Friends may call from 11 am until service time on
Saturday at the Reger Funeral Home.
