Bob Guy Spriggs
(July 26, 1946 - September 26, 2014)

Bob G. Spriggs, 68, of Kenova. Went home to be with the Lord Friday September 26, 2014 at the Huntington V.A. Medical Center. He was born July 26, 1946, in Kenova, WV He was a graduate of Vinson High School class of 1965. He was in the U.S. Navy and served two tours in Vietnam. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 93 Kenova.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Eva Spriggs, and a sister Judy Kay Carstensen. He is survived by his daughter Bobbi Gilkerson (Darrell), three grandchildren Emily, Shelby, Ethan, and sister Sandy Adkins (Gary) all of Huntington. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews, and special friends. He will be loved and missed by all who knew him, and a special thanks to the staff of the Huntington, V.A. Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday October 1st, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East by Rev. Darrell Gilkerson. Burial will follow at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East, Greenup County, KY. Visitation will be at the Reger Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM.
