Charles Raymond Blatt, 82, of Huntington, passed away Sunday June 5, 2016 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Wednesday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Father Charles McGinnis. Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Wayne County, WV. He was born November 29, 1933 in Huntington, WV, a son of the late Raymond Casper and Edith Arthur Blatt. Charles was a veteran of the US Army and was a retired machinist with Nulls Machine Shop and he also helped his son in his business, R & R Products. Charles was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Maxine Midkiff Blatt and two sisters Lucille Easthon and Katherine Bocook. Survivors include two sons and daughters in law Charles Randall and Rhonda Blatt and Scott and Brooke Blatt all of Huntington; daughter and son in law Mindy and Greg Turner of Huntington; grandchildren Jeremy and Mallory Watts, Sarah and Kevin Day, Brittany and Tyler Jones, Alex Blatt and his fiancé Kearston Evans, Kaitlin Blatt and Josh Blatt; great grandchildren Dexter, Noah and Everly Jones, Fiona and Emmy Kate Watts, Konor Day and Kingston Blatt. Friends may call from noon until service time on Wednesday at the Reger Funeral Home.
