Harry Edward “Ed” Hancock, 87, of Huntington, WV went to be with the Lord on June 1, 2016 at his home. He was the son of the late Harry F. and Tennie B. Hancock. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 2:00pm at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Jamie Gump with burial to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Ed was a veteran of the US Navy and the US Air Force and retired from the Huntington VA Medical Center and was a lifelong member of Madison Avenue Christian Church. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Willie , son and daughter in law, Mark and Tracy of Cross Lanes, WV,; granddaughters Jordan Hancock of Huntington and Kara Hancock of Milton, WV; step grandsons Travis Creighton of Minot, ND, and Anthony Creighton of Nitro, WV, Eli and Alan Wooten of Cross Lanes and Huntington, WV; brother William (Barbara) Hancock of Huntington, WV and sister Mary Collins of Labelle, FL and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Edith May Hancock and Dorothy Akers Pack. Friends may call from noon until service time on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at the Reger Funeral Home.
