Emogene Elizabeth "Gi Gi" McCurry
(August 12, 1923 - May 13, 2015)

Emogene Elizabeth “Gi Gi” McCurry, 91, of Ona, WV, went home to be with the Lord on May 13, 2015, at Midland Meadows Senior Living. She was born August 12, 1923, in Wayne County, WV, a daughter of the late Charley and Tokie Thompson Lockhart. She was also preceded in death by her husband William S. McCurry. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Patricia and Charles Grass of Ona, WV, Dennis and Jackie Barker of Pembroke Pines, FL, Charles W. Barker of San Miguel, Mexico, Len and Eva Barker of Chardon, OH, and Connie and Vance Tinsley of Catawba, SC; 13 grandchildren, Mickey, Lee Ann, Misty, Justin, Mike, Carly, Troy, Lyle, Jared, Blake, Jake, Brandon, and Austin; nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. Friday at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, May 15, 2015, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, by Pastor Paul Meadows. Burial will be in Fountainhead Memorial Park, in Palm Bay, FL.
