Darrell Scott Nelson
(March 4, 1982 - June 12, 2017)

Darrell Scott Nelson, 35, of Milton, passed away Monday, June 12, 2017. He was born March 4, 1982 in Huntington, W.Va., a son of Michael and Brenda Harshbarger Shull. Scott had a great heart and helped anyone he could. He was a jack of all trades. He loved his babies and was a great daddy to Caden, Clowie, Brayden, Arianna Nelson. He is also survived by his maternal grandfather, Elmer "Tuffy" Harshbarger and preceded by his maternal grandmother, Mary Harshbarger; paternal grandfather and grandmother, Darrell and Judy Nelson; two sisters, Amy Nelson Salmons and Kayla Perry Morrison; stepbrother, Michael Joseph Shull; stepsister, Crystal Strunk; special buddies, Chris Workman, Tony Harshbarger and Matt Johnson and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Sunday, June 18, 2017 at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton with Pastor Tony Mays officiating. Burial will follow in the Gwinn Cemetery, Milton.
