Julia Anna Daly Chapman
(January 19, 1940 - August 16, 2018)



JULIA ANNA "ANN" DALY CHAPMAN, 78, of Ona, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 16, 2018, at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born January 19, 1940, in Cabell County, a daughter of the late William "Bill" Daly and Lillie Virginia Gibson Daly. She was a former employee of Mack's Market and was a member of Beulah Ann Missionary Baptist Church. She was a lifetime member and on the Board of Directors of the Ona Volunteer Fire Department. She was preceded in death by her husband, Murrill Ivan Chapman, and one nephew, Jimmy Belcher. She is survived by three sons, Bruce Ivan and wife Peggy, Brent Andrew and wife Terri, and Brian Vernon; three granddaughters, Rebecca Chapman, Amy Pauley, Amanda Lucas; five great-grandchildren, Brandon, Jacob, Chelsea, Hollie and Kara; one great-great-grandson, Bentley; one sister, Edna Mae (Joe) Booten; a niece, Susan Belcher; a great-niece, Rachel; special friends, Marquitta Chapman, Bernard Nance and Sarah Nance; family at Ona Volunteer Fire Department; and a host of special family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, August 20, 2018, at the Beulah Ann Missionary Baptist Church, with Pastor Greg Lunsford officiating. Burial will be in the Chapman and Daly Cemetery, Ona. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, and after noon Monday at the church.
