Barbara G. Edmonds
(November 20, 1939 - August 6, 2018)

Barbara G. Edmonds, 78, of Milton, WV, went home to be with the Lord on August 6, 2018, after a long illness. She was born November 20, 1939, in Madison, WV, the daughter of the late Todd and Irene Skaggs Jackson. She worked at 20th Street Bank, Bank of Milton, and the Putnam County Bank. She was the vice president of Ed-Pat Construction Inc. She loved the beach and enjoyed the winters spent in Venice, FL, during her retirement. Barbara was a member of the Almost Heaven camping club, the Milton Women’s Club, and the Milton Garden Club. She attended Teays Valley Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Timothy Jackson. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Jimmy Edmonds; two daughters, Karen (Duane) Bowers and Michelle (Jeff) Maynard; one brother, Tom Jackson; four grandchildren, Cody (Katrina) Bowers, Cole (Lauren) Bowers, Justin (Abigail) Maynard, and JC (Brooke) Maynard; two great grandchildren, Aaron Bowers and Audrey Maynard. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 9, 2018, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, by Rev. Winford Curry. Burial will be in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. The family would like to thank her sisters-in-law, Judy Billups and Nancy Edmonds for their special help.
