ObituaryImogene Richardson Imogene Richardson, 88, of Ona, WV, passed away March 6, 2018. She was born July 3, 1929, in Lesage, WV, a daughter of the late Alma Ferguson. She retired from Sears and was a member of Beulah Ann Missionary Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Wheeler Richardson, Sr.; son, Gary Lee Cooper; daughter, Renee Cooper Jackson; grandson, Billy James Jordan. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Mona Lisa and Bob Jordan; Joy and Bert Miller; one daughter-in-law, Opal Cooper; one sister, Rita Blake; grandchildren, Mollie Cooper May (Chad), Toby Cooper Petty (Rick), Angie Jackson Dornon (Shawn Taylor fiancé), David Jackson (Crystal), Kattie Coleman Walters, Josh Williamson, Lori Ann Hawks (Shawn); fifteen great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren; special niece, Darlene "Sis" Bowen; two special friends, Lovena Ferguson and Diane Adkins that was her "adopted" daughter; three great granddogs that she loved dearly, Champ, B.J., and Layla. She was known as "mom" to many people. Special thanks for the exceptional care and hospitality provided by St. Mary’s Pulmonary Unit and Cabell Health Care. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2018, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, by Pastor Jeff Lycans. Burial will be in Forest Memorial Park, Milton.
