ObituaryPatricia June Turley
PATRICIA JUNE TURLEY, 74, Hurricane, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 6, 2018. Pat, as she preferred to be called, graduated from Duval High School in Lincoln County, W.Va. She met the love of her life, Carmen E. "TANK" Turley, and married him on October 11, 1962. She had two sons, Barry E. Turley and Darrin "Scott" Turley. She was a wife, mother, and homemaker for most of her life. She started working at Union Carbide in 1982. She earned an Associate's Degree in Electronics, and worked as an Instrument Technician for Union Carbide until her retirement in 1993. Pat was a loving daughter to her parents, a loving and caring sibling to all of her brothers and sisters, and a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Patricia is preceded in death by her husband - Carmen E. "TANK" Turley, her mother - Mildred Loftis, her father - Ted Loftis, her sister - Ellen Childers, and her brother - Dwight Loftis, and several very special brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. She is survived by her two sons - Barry E. Turley, and Darrin "Scott" Turley, their spouses - Elizabeth Turley and Jeralisa Turley, respectively. She is also survived by her grandchildren - Megan Turley, Shelby Turley, Spencer Turley, Aurelia Carter, Joey Rash and Amber Rimkus, and two great-grandchildren - Trinity Rash and Max Rash, In addition, she is survived by brothers - Teddy Loftis and wife Willa Jane Loftis, Roger Loftis and wife Beverly Loftis, sisters - Carol Turley, Anita Kay Pahl and Janice Goeglein. In addition, Patricia is survived by many very, very, special nieces and nephews. Patricia and the entire Turley family would like to extend a special thanks to all of the very special and talented professionals at Cabell Health and Rehabilitation Center that are fantastic caregivers that were more like family than caregivers. Funeral services will be conducted at noon Saturday, March 10, 2018, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, by Pastor Craig Gillenwater. Burial will be in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
