Forest Mye White

FOREST NYE WHITE, of Culloden, W.Va., passed away March 5, 2018, at St. Mary's Medical Center. He retired from Appalachian Electric Power Company. He was one of the founders of the Culloden Volunteer Fire Department, where he served as fire chief for several years. He was a member of the Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Willie Kilgore White, and his sister, Irene Horsley. He is survived by his wife, Betty Davis White; one brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Juanita White of Summerville, S.C.; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 8, 2018, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, by Pastor Aaron Karr. Burial will be in Valley View Memorial Park, Hurricane.
