Delano Louise Newsome
(December 6, 1937 - February 2, 2011)

DELANO LOUISE NEWSOME, 73, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2011. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday, February 6, 2011, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, W.Va. Burial will be conducted at Skeens Cemetery, East Lynn, W.Va. She was born on December 6, 1937, in Logan County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Okey Davidson and Frankie Skeens Davidson. She was preceded in death by her husband, George T. Newsome. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Levetta and Noah Henson of Proctorville, Ohio; one son, Okey Thomas Newsome; and a very special daughter-in-law, Kimberly Newsome; one sister and brother-in-law, Faye and Richard Kearns of Lumberport, W.Va.; three grandchildren, Christy and Matt Starcher, Noah Jr. and Megan Henson, and Jonathon Newsome; three great-grandchildren, Matthew Paul and Marcus Todd, and Nataliya Paige Starcher; special friend Roy Mays and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
