RICHARD ALLEN LEWIS
(October 23, 1976 - January 23, 2016)



RICHARD ALLEN LEWIS, 39, of Huntington, went home to be with the Lord and his Paw Paw on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Wallace Funeral Home and Chapel with Pastor Tracy Call officiating. Burial will be in Enon Cemetery. He was born October 23, 1976 in Cabell County, a son of Susie Grose Smith of Ona and Richard Lewis of Huntington. He was raised by his grandparents, Geneva Faye Grose of Huntington and the late Elston E. Grose. He was Baptist by faith. He was preceded in death by one sister, Jessica Lewis Yates; one uncle, Raymond Grose; and grandparents, Dick and Carmina Lewis. He is survived by his grandmother, Geneva Faye Grose; his mother, Susie Smith; his father, Richard (Judy) Lewis; three brothers, Larry (Pam) Marcum and Robert Lewis, both of Huntington, and Shawn Lewis of Barboursville; two sisters, Tiffany Lewis of Huntington and Jackie Brooks of San Diego, Calif.; two aunts, Donna Smith of Huntington, and Bernice Adkins of Proctorville, Ohio; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews; loads of friends and a very special caretaker, Melinda (Bruce) Warren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
