Obituary

THOMAS HAROLD LUSHER
(December 11, 1942 - January 3, 2016)

THOMAS HAROLD LUSHER, 73, of Ona, passed away January 3, 2016 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. He was born December 11, 1942, in West Hamlin, W.Va., a son of the late Harold Lusher. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Florence Lusher, who raised him, a sister, Sue and brother, Wayne. He is survived by his daughter Amanda McKenzie and Mark Davis of Barboursville; one son Matt Lusher and Barbie of Culloden; two grandchildren, Scott and wife Meagan Lusher and Heather McKenzie; three great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Sammy and Abby; his friend and companion of 30 years, Sherri Hensley and her children, Justin Hensley and Jerrod and wife, Tabby Hensley; grandchildren, Tyler, Kaiden, Gavin, Riley and Bella "June Bug" Hensley. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville and after 1 p.m. Thursday at the church. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 7, 2016, at Liberty Baptist Church, Ona, by Pastor Kim Stone.
