ObituarySharon Kay Cremeans
Sharon Kay Cremeans, 73, of Barboursville, passed away June 17, 2016 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Rev. Charles Phillip Wilson. Burial will be in Green Valley Cemetery. She was born April 19, 1943 in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late James Willard and Vernie Adkins Cremeans. Sharon was a member of Harmony United Methodist Church, where she served on church committees. She was a member of the United Methodist Women and Harmony Yarn Spinners. She was active many years in the Pea Ridge Women's Club and was a Red Hatter with the Begonia Bells Red Hat Society. She bowled on a bowling league for many years. She retired from Sears and kept in touch with the Sears retirees. She was a graduate of Barboursville High School and Huntington Junior Business College. She is survived by her brother Harold Lee Cremeans; five aunts; and special friend Karen Williams. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
