Obituary

BETTY LOU WHITE
(October 26, 1945 - June 6, 2016)

BETTY LOU WHITE, 70, of Salt Rock, passed away June 6, 2016. She was born October 26, 1945, in Salt Rock, W.Va., a daughter of the late Wilson and Evelyn Adkins Holton. She was also preceded in death by her husband Billy Joe White, sister Elizabeth Holton and brother Perry Holton. She was retired from INCO Alloys as an executive secretary and was active in her church as an Awana leader, Sunday School teacher and choir member. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, William Joseph and Amanda White, and her grandson Alex White; two sisters, Sue Adkins and Wanda Adkins and two brothers, Lonnie and Larry Holton. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 9, 2016, at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, June 10, 2016, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Chris Fulks of Bloomingdale-Salem Baptist Church. Burial will be in Baylous Cemetery, Salt Rock.
