Karen Sue Cole
(May 23, 1959 - August 11-2017)

Karen Sue Cole, 58, of Barboursville, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, August 11, 2017 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. She was born May 23, 1959 in Huntington, W.Va., a daughter of Elizabeth Erwin and the late Merrill Erwin. In addition to her father she is preceded in death by one sister, Sandra Meadows and two nephews Kendall and Nathan Meadows. She is survived by her fiancé Mike Clark, one daughter, Erika Ryder (Brent); one son, Ryan Hanna; one sister, Drema Powell (Billy); five grandchildren, Nash Ryder, Landon Hanna, Braylen Ryder, MaKenna Ryder and MaKenzie Hanna; one niece, Madison Powell; one nephew, Zach Powell; and very special friend and Chief Deputy Teresa Powell and the rest of the staff at the Cabell County clerks office. A celebration of Karen’s life will be conducted 7 p.m. Friday, August 18, 2017 at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville with Pastor Lee Dean officiating. Friends may visit from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
