Obituary

Neal Arlington Bell
(January 16, 1931 - November 26, 2017)

Neal Arlington Bell, 86, of Huntington, WV, passed away November 26, 2017. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, December 1, 2017, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Huntington, by Bishop Mark Perry and Bishop Gary Carico. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. He was born January 16, 1931, in Dolly, WV, a son of the late John Howard Bell and Kate Lilly Pardue Bell. He was a retiree of the U.S. Army, having served in the Korean War and during Vietnam and was a recipient of two purple hearts. He is survived by his wife Mitsue June Uno Bell; three daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Dr. David Calvert of Alcoa, TN; Rose Ann and Dr. Dean Bruce of Birmingham, AL; Diane and Carl Comer of St. George, UT; one sister Abby Garmes, of Charleston, WV, one brother Johnny Bell of Washington State; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Visitation will be after 12:30 p.m. Friday at the church. Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville, is in charge of arrangements.
