Obituary

John Junior Hall
(October 15, 1923 - November 1, 2017)

JOHN JUNIOR HALL, 94, of Barboursville, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 1, 2017. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 5, 2017, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel with Rev. Bill Nida officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Memorial Park. He was born October 15, 1923, in Milton, a son of the late John Reason and Goldie Ethel Wallace Hall. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Perry Hall, and three sisters, Lucille Carroll, Kathleen Ramey and Ruby Green. He was retired from the C&O Railroad and was a member of New Baptist Church. He is survived by his children, Linda K. and Therman "Sonny" Martin of Poquoson, Va., and John Stephen and Jean Hall of Winfield, W.Va.; his grandchildren, Melissa Spurlock of Barboursville, John S. Hall II and Susan of Scott Depot and John C. Martin of Poquoson, Va.; three great-grandsons, John William Hall, Justin Scott Hall and James Morton. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
