DENNIS JUNIOR “BUCKY” ROY, 68 of Lesage, WV died peacefully at his home on January 19, 2011, with his wife Wanda, his son, Fred and his beloved dog, Jack was by his side. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1:00 PM at Beard Mortuary with Rev. Doug Spurlock officiating. Burial will follow in Franklin Cemetery, Branchland, WV. He was born June 29, 1941 in Lincoln County, WV a son of the late Dennis and Norma Hodge Roy. He was an Army Veteran with the 35th Transportation Battalion. He retired in 1995 from INCO with 30 years of service. His dream was to become a truck driver so he followed his dream and drove for Warner Trucking for six months. He also worked with Autism Services so he could work with his grandson Brandon who is autistic. Dennis and Brandon loved each other very much. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Olive Roy, a brother, William O. Roy and a brother-in-law, Jim Smith. He was a beloved husband, dad and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Wanda Roy; his daughter Brenda Frye, a grandson, Brandon Frye and a son, Fred Dudding. He is also survived by two sisters, Marlene Smith and Shirley (David) Armstrong; a brother, Ernest Roy as well as many nieces, nephews and a cousin Barbara Cook. He was loved by all his friends and family and will be greatly missed. Thank you to all the neighbors for all their help and loving care and To Hospice for their support. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Friday at Beard Mortuary.
