Linda Leigh "Sam" Tucker Bowers, 61, of Huntington, passed away Sunday March 15, 2009 at her residence. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 19, 2009 at Montgomery Memorial Gardens, Montgomery, WV, where burial will follow. She was born May 1, 1947, at Montgomery, WV, a daughter of the late Callie William and Frances Stacy Tucker. She was an investigator with the West Virginia Human Rights Commission. She is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Bob Fisher of Carmel, IN; a brother and sister-in-law, March Tucker, Sr., and Nancy Tucker, of Dunbar, WV; nieces and nephews, Robert, Chris, and Sherri Fisher, March Tucker, Jr. and Kim DeBolt; and many other family members and friends, also "The Beach Crew" survives. Friends may visit with the family at Chapman's Mortuary from 6 pm until 8 pm Wednesday, March 18, 2009.
