E. Juanita Roberts Woodyard, 96, of Huntington, WV. formerly of Parkersburg, WV., went to be with the Lord and her family in Heaven after a brief illness, Monday March 9, 2009 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Juanita was born February 22, 1913 in Grantsville, WV. a daughter of the late Allie & Vinnie Gainer Roberts. She was a retired Claims examiner from the V.A. Regional Office with 40 years of service. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Joy Circle of the church, lifetime member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, former member of Business and Professional Women's Club, church and Red Cross volunteer. She was preceded in death by three brothers A.F., E.F., and A.K. Roberts and one sister. Virginia E. Lofty. Survivors include one brother Denny D. Roberts of Charleston, WV., a nephew Dennis D. Roberts of Huntington, whom she raised as a son, several other nieces & nephews, the caregiver for the last 2 years Mary Rose & family of Ona, WV. The family wishes to thank all of Juanita�s doctors and nurses at both Cabell Huntington Hospital and St. Mary's Medical Center. There will be no visitation.
