James Hunt

Mr. James F. Hunt, 83, of Huntington, widower of Betty Ellen Hunt, passed away Wednesday September 30, 2009 at the Emogene Dolen Jones Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Friday, October 2, 2009, at Chapman's Mortuary. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. He was born October 5, 1925 at Ceredo, WV, a son of the late Orland and Minnie Ferris Hunt. He was a retired foreman with the former I.N.C.O.
He was a US Navy Veteran serving during WW II. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law; Brenda and Roger Wood of Chesapeake, OH, 2 sons and daughters-in-law; Ron and Donna Hunt and Chris and Kenna Hunt all of Barboursville, WV, 9 grandchildren; Sean Wood, Stacie Spotloe, Rhonda McIntyre, Randy Hunt, Jason Hunt, Jamie Rutledge, Joshua Pratt, Travis Pratt and Tiffany Soboyna, 10 great grandchildren; and 2 brothers, Orland Hunt of Huntington, and David Hunt of Chesapeake, OH. Friends may visit with the family from noon until 2 pm Friday, October 2, 2009 at Chapman's Mortuary
