Naomi Virginia Ross, 90, of Huntington, WV died Tuesday September 1, 2009 in Huntington Health and Rehabilitation Center. Service will be conducted 1:00 PM Friday September 4, 2009 at Woodmere Memorial Parks Abbey of Remembrance with Pastor Dennis Morrello officiating. Naomi was born February 3, 1919 in Cabell Co., WV a daughter of the late Bernard & Anna Beverly Wood. She was also preceded in death by her husband Merle M. Ross, 2 brothers Carlos & Robert Wood, 1 sister Norma Jean Dishman. Survivors include 2 daughters & sons-in-law Anna & Bob Fruda, Gail & Mike Vititoe, 2 sisters Kathaleen Stewart, Eleanor Jean Adkins, 2 brothers Winford & Jim Wood all of Huntington, 2 grandsons Bob Fruda & wife Cindy of Winston-Salem, NC & Chad Vititoe & wife Melissa of Hampton, VA, 1 great-granddaughter Joanna Fruda, and several nieces & nephews. Chapman's Mortuary Huntington is in charge of arrangements.
