Clyde "Buck" Walker

Mr. Clyde E. “Buck” Walker, 76 of Huntington, passed away Saturday, November 10, 2012, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00pm, Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at White Chapel Mausoleum, White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV, with Pastor Paul Harris officiating.. Burial will follow. He was born May 31, 1936 in Huntington, a son of the late Edgar and Violet Marie Phillips Walker. He was a retired Steelworker with the former ACF Industries. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Eddie Charles Walker. Surviving are a daughter, Penny Lynn Pelfrey of Huntington, a son and daughter-in-law; Steve and Kelley Walker, of Nashville, TN; sister, Phyllis Jackman of Washington, IN; brother, William Walker of Huntington; 7 Grandchildren,7 great grandchildren and a great-great grandson. Friends may call at Chapman’s Mortuary from 6pm until 8 pm Monday, November 12, 2012, and after 12:30 pm, Monday at the cemetery.
