Obituary


Susan Gail Clark, 68, of Huntington, died Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born June 6, 1947 in Chicago, IL, a daughter of the late Parnell D. and Bette Louise Olsen Anderson. Her sister, Sally McGill also preceded her in death. She was a nurse at the Mildred Mitchell Bateman Hospital, where she was on the Auxiliary Board. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, the St. Paul Lutheran Quilters, and member of the Praise Painters of Christ the King Lutheran Church. Survivors include four daughters and two sons-in-law, Christine and David Vickers, and Beth Ellen and Myles Brown, all of Huntington, Latoma Smith of Hurricane, WV, and Tiffany Williams of Lexington, KY; a son, Andrew Clark and spouse, Maegen Brennan of Huntington; five grandsons, Steven Brown, Ryan Vickers, Joseph Williams, Daniel Brown, and Kevin Vickers; a brother-in-law, Tom McGill of Huntington; and her two special cats, Chip and Chuck. The family asks that donations be made to Little Victories or the Cabell County Reading Council in her name. Funeral services will be conducted 6:30 pm Friday, August 14, 2015 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church with Pastor Kevin L. Mackey officiating. A private family burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens on Saturday.
