Obituary



Mary Elizabeth Ooten, 66, of Huntington, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2015 in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. She was born January 30, 1949, in Williamson, WV, a daughter of the late Elizabeth Taylor Lipps. Survivors include her father, Jack I. Lipps and spouse, Mary Ann Lipps of Huntington; two daughters, Kimberly Hollie and Angela Ooten, both of Florida; three grandchildren, Jacqueline Ooten, Colten Hollie, and Zack Brown, all of Florida; and two sisters, Helen Adkins of Huntington, and Nancy Ryan of Morehead, KY. Private graveside services will be conducted at the Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Abbey of Devotion with Father Dean Borgmeyer officiating. Burial will follow.
