Bobby A. Miller, Sr.
(October 4, 1929 - February 18, 2015)



Bobby A. Miller, Sr., 85, of Huntington, husband of Nettie Chapman Miller, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2015, in Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Saturday, February 21, 2015, at Chapman’s Mortuary, with Dr. David B. Lemming officiating. Burial will be in Ridgelawn Memorial Park. He was born October 4, 1929, in Cabell County, WV, a son of the late William T. and Myrtle Smith Miller. Three brothers, William, Walter and Johnny Miller also preceded him in death. He was a US Air Force veteran, retired from Armco Steel as a master mechanic, and attended Lewis Memorial Baptist Church. Survivors in addition to his wife include: One son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Bobby A. Miller, II, and Rebecca Miller of Huntington; a daughter and son-in-law, Christina and Charlie Bradley of Oak Island, NC; one sister, Mary Petit of Huntington; three grandchildren, Kala Durham of Lauderdale, FL, K.C. Miller of Huntington, C.J. Adkins of Oak Island, NC; and a great-granddaughter, Cambria Durham of Lauderdale, FL. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time Saturday at the funeral home.
