LARRY GENE COLE
(November 25, 2015)



Larry Gene Cole, 58, of Huntington, WV, died Wednesday November 25, 2015 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday November 28, 2015 at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington with Rev. Kevin Lantz officiating. Burial will be in Dock's Creek Cemetery Kenova, WV. Larry was born February 13, 1957 in Huntington, WV a son of Georgia Powell Cole of Lavalette and the late Lindsey Cole, Jr. Larry retired from the City of Huntington. He loved sports and was the former President of the West End Baseball League and former assistant baseball coach at Huntington High School. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Linda Vance. Additional survivors include three daughters, Amanda (David) Reynolds of Catlettsburg, KY, Andrea Cole and Amber Adkins both of Huntington, 6 grandchildren, Destiny and Mia Reynolds, LeeAnn Cole, Ethan Blake, Hallie and Gunner Adkins, three sisters, Patty Smith of Lavalette, Kathy (Ron) Harper of Charleston, SC, Tammy Lewis of Lake City, FL, one brother, Roger (Edna) Cole of Proctorville, several nieces and nephews, his companion and best friend Chilta Stanley, special friends, Dion Boyle, David Johnson, Mike (Bumper) Phillips, and Tim Hager. Friends may visit with the family from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Friday November 27, 2015 at Chapman's Mortuary.
