Abraham Lincoln Floyd, Jr., 37, of Charleston, passed away Thursday November 19, 2015 in Charleston. He was born November 16, 1978 in Columbus, OH, a son of Carla Sue Smith of Huntington and the late Abraham Lincoln Floyd. He worked in security for Mardi Gras Casino and Resort, and as a cook for Applebee's Restaurant. In addition to his mother, survivors include, two daughters, Crystal Floyd and Peyton Floyd; two sons, Gage Woods Floyd and Colton Floyd; a brother, Josh Floyd and his wife, Amanda Floyd, and their children, Kobe, Trent, and Trevor; Aunt and Uncle, Don and Vicki Short; Uncle Mike Vanbuskirk; Uncle Terry Short; his partner, Lenora Buzbee; and many other close friends and family. Chapman's Mortuary is assisting the family with cremation and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
