Melissa Charlene Vernetter
(April 21, 1955 - May 13, 2009)

Melissa Charlene Adams Vernetter, 54 of Huntington passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral service will be 7 pm Friday, May 15, 2009 at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home, Home with Rev. Tim Dixon officiating. Burial will be private at Bowen Cemetery, Wayne, WV. Melissa was born April 21, 1955 in Washington, DC, a daughter of Charles Adams of Fredericksburg, VA and Claudia Nichols Adams of Greenbelt, MD. She is survived by one daughter, Stephanie Adams-Stinnett of Huntington, WV; one son, Christopher (Tia) Adams of Clinton, MD; one brother Steven (Janet) Adams of Lendoverhills, MD; two nieces, Lori Adams and Stacy Adams and one nephew, Steven Adams II; and her special “little one”, Lester R. “Bubby” Mays. Visitation will be 5 to 7 pm Friday, May 15, 2009 at the funeral home.
