Obituary

Dallas Alvin Edmonds, 78, of Glenwood went home to be with his Lord Monday, October 15, 2007 in St. Mary’s Medical Center.  Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, October 18, 2007 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Pastor Max Spurlock officiating.  Burial will follow in Pete Meadows Cemetery, Glenwood.  Dallas was born September 1, 1929 in Mason County, a son of the late Jeremiah and Mattie Holley Edmonds.  He is also preceded in death by one brother, four sisters and one great granddaughter.  He is survived by his wife, Edna Wray Edmonds; three sons and daughters-in-law, Dallas Ray Edmonds (Joyce), Michael Edmonds (Jane) and Jerry Edmonds (Patty); two sisters and one brother-in-law, Marie Barker (Ralph) and Martha Stover; one brother and sister-in-law, Melvin Edmonds (Jean); 8 grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.  Friends may visit from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
