Obituary

Charles Froud Keenan, 77, of Ona, WV went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 6, 2007.  He was a kind and loving Christian husband, father, grandfather and brother.  Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at Antioch Baptist Church, Ona with Pastor Bill Davis officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton.  He was born February 14, 1930 in Cabell County, WV, a son of the late Albert and Nora Morrison Keenan.  He was a longtime member and trustee of Antioch Baptist Church, served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and was retired from INCO Alloys after 32 years of service.  He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Edna Marie Ellis Keenan; two sons and daughters-in-law, Patrick and Nancy Keenan of Milton and C. Michael and Terri Keenan of Ona; 10 grandchildren, Cheryl Marie (Rodney) White of Milton, Deanna Ferguson of Ona, Patrick Keenan II of Beaver, April (Kevin) Keaton of Milton, Stephanie Black of Ona, Donna (Calvin) Hatfield of Milton, Jeanna (Todd) Adkins of Winchester, KY, Amy Keenan of Huntington, Amber Perry of Fairmont and Mike Perry of Ona; 15 great grandchildren; seven siblings and many Christian brothers and sisters.  Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, October 8, 2007 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
