Obituary

Hubert Fredrick Huffman (Fred), 78, of Milton passed away October 28, 2007 in Cabell Huntington Hospital after a long illness.  He was born July 16, 1929 in Spencer, WV (Roane County), a son of the late Hubert L. and Susan Wolfe Huffman.  He was also preceded in death by one son, Johnny Douglas Huffman; one brother, Paul Huffman; and one sister, Phyllis Rowe.  He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Mary (Hackney) Huffman; his children, Donald and Berta Huffman of Idaho City, Idaho and Debbie Huffman of Milton; three grandsons, Shane of Columbus, OH, Donald of Nampa, Idaho, and TJ of Live Oak, CA; two granddaughters, Janelle (Joe) Corona of Nampa, Idaho, and Jenny of Idaho; three great grandchildren, Alexia and Roberta Corona, and Noah of Idaho; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Marie and Richard Taylor of Weirsdale, FL and Mary and Jimmie Sheets of Chesterton, Indiana.  Fred was the current pastor of the Faith Gospel Lighthouse where he has served for the past 35 years.  He was a retired TSGT with the United States Air Force with 20 years of service and also retired from CAMC General.  Friends may call from 6 to 9 PM on Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at Heck Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Thursday, November 1, 2007 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Rev. Wendell Shull officiating and singing by Randy and LeeAnn Black.  Entombment will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton.
